Overview

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) consisting of the full 44-amino acid sequence of GHRH with a trans-3-hexenoic acid group conjugated to the N-terminus. This modification stabilizes the peptide against dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzymatic cleavage, extending its half-life relative to native GHRH.
