Overview

Bacteriostatic Water is sterile water for injection that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, allowing the solution to be used multiple times without contamination. Each vial contains 10ml of bacteriostatic water, commonly used in research settings for the reconstitution of lyophilized peptides and proteins.
